Professor Joseph Connolly was appointed the Founding Grandmaster ofChungTongKKwan Yudo by the Korea Judo Association, the member of theInternational Judo Federation for Korea, and the ROK Yudo Association, theorganization representing the traditional oriental martial art of Judo inKorea. ChungTongKwan Yudo was the first international kwon of thetraditional Korean military arts, as approved by the government-recognizedofficials in Seoul, Korea. ChungTongKwan Yudo is also a member kwon of theKorea Hapkido Federation, and Professor Connolly was appointed the FoundingGrandmaster under the KHF as well. He also holds Grandmaster rank inTaekwondo, under the Korea Taekwondo Association. A retired operator of theUnited States Army Special Forces, Connolly holds five graduate degrees, andis a faculty member of the College of Higher Education of Martial Arts inthe United Kingdom.
